At Mystic Trace you will be provided with resources to help you develop and practice contemplative prayer. The grounds foster a sense of simply being with God in a beautiful natural setting where spending time with the Creator becomes much easier. The Ministry Director has been called into and specially trained for the ministry of spiritual formation. He is available to you as a spiritual guide and retreat director if you desire this resource.
You may make your retreat in total silence and solitude or you may meet privately and confidentially with the Ministry Director each day.
If you want to continue in spiritual direction after your retreat is completed, please talk with the Ministry Director.
Facilities
The housing
facilities are simple yet modern. For a more ascetic experience, a
hermitage in the woods will be available in the not-too-distant future.
Meals
Meals can be provided for you, you may bring your own food, you may leave the Center briefly to dine at a restaurant in one of the nearby towns, or you may choose to fast during part or all of your retreat.
